Rei's Pink Overalls

So I've been coerced into watching Sailor Moon (subtitled of course) by a friend and... I actually like it quite a lot. I mean, its pretty dumb but can make for some damn fun entertainment.

One of my favourite things about the show is the characters' outfits. Someone on the design team really put a lot of effort into designing a full, unique wardrobe for each character! Love it! But of course, these outfits are mostly very dated and sometimes hilariously awful. And here we have my favourite example of such an outfit. I mean, come on Rei, pink overalls? No fourteen year old, heck, no one above the age of eight, should still be wearing those. Ever. Was this really a thing in the 90s? Also, having them rolled up with turquoise socks is just the icing on the cake.

I sampled my colours straight from a screenshot of the show to give it the faded-cell-art look. A dated outfit deserves a dated colour pallet. XD
