Watch-Wher You're Going

It's a watch-wher from the Dragonriders of Pern series. To be honest, I'm not a fan of the books. I was introduced to the Pern universe by a book called The Dragonriders Guide to Pern, which I stumbled upon at my local library when I was in high school. I found the world building described in that book absolutely fascinating. Of course, that led me to check out the novels. I was incredibly disappointed to find that they read like the world's most boring textbook and the characters had all the personality of wallpaper paste.

The one thing about the Pern universe that has since really stuck with me is the watch-wher- the deformed, nocturnal, flightless, genetic-experiment-gone-wrong cousin of the dragon. I dunno I'm just really fond of hideously deformed monsters.
